Knives

Apart from bows, I sometimes also make knives. These will not be custom made; however I do sell knives that I have in stock. Throughout the ages, knives – as well as bows – have been used as tools as well as weapons. For me, they are also a means to use my creativity, as they combine usefulness with beauty. My knives are handcrafted without the use of modern equipment, so they take a long time to create and are each unique. The knives are made of the finest stainless and high-carbon steel, and are decorated with filed patterns, and my name is engraved in hard steel.

Some knives are engraved by hand. The hardening process is done by professionals, to the desired Rockwell strength. For the grips I tend to use natural materials like wood, horn, antlers, and mammoth ivory. Knives that will be used for rough work will have Micarta grips.

All my knives come with beautiful sheaths made of thick leather, hand stitched and decorated with stamps.
